2018 HALLOWEEN PARTY
JP Smart Club - 2018 Halloween Party last Friday night was a blast. The 10 JP Smart Club members and 3 staff members had a night to remember!
Our party was organized at an apartment near Hatagaya Station in Shibuya Ward, Tokyo. The room was decorated intrinsically to reflect the Halloween theme. Spider webs, candied pumpkin, stuffed skeletons, and every other piece of decoration made the whole vibe so exciting the moment we stepped in.
The 10 members who attended last time are also from various countries like Emil from Sweden, Toru from Japan, Anna from the Philippines, Bryan from Australia, Li from China, or Hung from Vietnam.
We started off the party by introducing ourselves and interests. It was such an intimate session when we could feel free to talk about so many things without experiencing a bit of inhibition. We felt so much closer to each other and of course were able to sense the warmth of an international community right here in the Japan.
That's also
exactly what JP Smart Club is striving for: to embrace the diversity of the
foreign community in Japan; and we are glad that everyone enjoyed getting together last time.
Drinking and 'dining' was also the fun part when we could to
try different pizzas and fried chicken, which might be a bit fatty but went perfectly with the carbonated
soft drinks! Such comfort food undoubtedly never fails to satisfy our taste buds!
We also played games like truth or dare while and many laughter was going on the whole time.
The party ended at 9 p.m. which was a little early but we can say for sure that everyone had some memories to remember.
The number of foreigners in Japan is growing faster and faster and we, as foreigners, do need to belong to a community to which we can feel a sense of belonging. At JP Smart Club, we are working hard everyday to bring that community into reality. JP Smart Club, as in our mission, is designed and built as a hub where international students and foreign workers can do net-working, seek help, consult for advice, and get access to several necessary services like Mobile SIM card (※JP Smart SIM) or WiFi (※JP Smart WiFi) while in Japan.
